If we had not illegally invaded Iraq, perhaps we have the manpower. When we invaded Iraq, most of the coalition forces from Europe did not follow us in. Perhaps we not invade Iraq, our coalition forces have more confidence in our cause and stay, or even increase their own presence in Afghanistan along with our own more numerous presence since we never in Iraq.

Ron Paul, and even Gary Johnson. I wonder what Gary Johnson doing these days. I not hear about him in this upcoming election.

We created and supported the proto-terrorist/Taliban by creating and abetting the Mujihadeen. We should have stayed out of that war between the Soviets, and Afghans.

Well AQ HQed in Afghanistan and being sheltered by the Taliban. When they crashed planes in WTC, we had to attack them. Plus the Taliban are just a rehash of the Mujihadeen, which the USA abetted and worked with. They not so suspicious of us back then. And is not true Afghanistan never been conquered by outsiders. Many kingdoms like the Hephalites, Kushans, Persians, Macedonian Greeks, Chagatai etc etc and taken over the area.
Look, put it this way: the United States isn’t gonna prevail there.

I know that damn much.

You have to wonder what the drone operators are feeling...sitting in some air conditioned /heated command center and dropping bombs with the push of a button! These are the REAL cowards imo.
It feels great, seeing someone's half-body laying there, and his buddies blown to pieces. I can sleep good at night knowing my ground buddies are safe from these dirtbags, lol...

They don't care. Brown people's lives mean nothing to them.

War doesn't care what color your skin is, That's why we shouldn't be jumping to war so quickly.

We went from a wars on 2 fronts to wars on 5, under someone with Brown skin. If were up to this white biy I would bring our troops home and let the Middle East settle their own issues.

Well, I get your sentiment.

But that poster was correct. The United States places no value on the lives of non Europeans or ill just say white people. It’s sad to say I know, but the type of wanton killing we do in these countries is embarrassing. And if I see how insouciant Americans are when brown people are so dismissively murdered, then the brown people in question DEFINITELY see it.

Same thing in Latin America when we were gallivanting around that continent. We Destroyed governments that reflected the will of the people just because they’d try to enact the same kind of socialist reforms that our white allies in Europe had without any American interference.

And people thought that was okay. SMH

You’re in THEIR country, buddy. And you’re gonna leave it by hook or by crook. It’s your choice.

But you won’t be leaving victoriously. Bank on it.
??????????

The Taliban fostered and concealed Bin Laden. They DID start a fight and these are the consequences.

Don't want your country bombed? Don't put in place radical governments that seek destruction and death to other nations. Its pretty simple.

Leaving victoriously? WTF? You don't need to permanently occupy a nation to defeat it; rob them of their wealth and infrastructure so that perhaps they will remember it in the future. If they rise up again and create violence around the world, rinse and repeat.

A world cannot exist by allowing violent extremists to disrupt world civilization and commerce and force a medieval system to replace western republics. Nations that embrace such notions are a cancer on the world and must be snuffed out.

Our "industrial military complex" and our "forever wars" are out of control.

Both political parties are to blame. Hold both parties accountable!
Point of clarification, that was NOT an accident.

We KNEW that place was full of those people and bombed it anyway as acceptable collateral losses. It was not an accident. This doctrine has been in place there for well over a decade.

I served in the military and would do it all again. That experience taught me a few things.
Our history books are white washed, as in sanitized.

The only difference between the bad guys we fight and the guys we support are that the guys we support are our bad guys.

As for its because it is brown skinned people? No that isn't a factor. Both parties love playing world cop. Their kids aren't the ones getting their arms and legs blown off. They love the ego trip that we know best.

Obama involved us in 2 civil wars that had nothing to do with us and then involved us in Yemen. This after the fools gave him the peace prize.

No it isn't about skin color it is about arrogance and power.

Right. Because our drone strikes never kill civilians. And our government would never lie or cover up if they did. (sarcasm intended)
