Trump was impeached. That is a fact. It is like a criminal being indicted. The Senate made up their mind before the trial. Trump is now officially allowed to do whatever he wants. Why are you all celebrating the unlimited power of the POTUS?

Yes, "impeached" by a bunch of far-left fanatics and crybabies who were completely unable to defeat him by normal ways, i.e. elections.

Being disagreed with by people like that, is actually a credit to President Trump.

Except the likely objective wasn't to defeat him. They knew that he wouldn't be removed from office. The objective was likely to make a point on principle (which they did), and to influence the 2020 election (both Presidential and down ballot). It obviously, because it's only February, remains to be seen re the latter.

Or will they simply pick themselves up off the floor and start some new committees to investigate more and more, trying to find something else they can bash and smear Donald Trump for?

We'll find out in the next several days, I guess.

Will we have a government again? Or just Investigations Against the President, Volume II?
If they keep the House, they will continue to "resist" if Trump is re-elected. The only way they wont is if they are slaughtered in 2020, and will need to re-brand themselves.

So start with Biden, Hillary, FBI, FISA Abuse, Schiff, whistleblower, or what - lots of corruption to investigate.

Right now they only get to run on allowing a white collar criminal to remain in office.
Which white collar criminal are you talking about - Schiff? Nadler? Pelosi?

What about the 400 bills passed by the House that are sitting on McConnel's desk in the Senate? He won't look at them; won't allow them to be debated by the Senate. Who did you say is not legislating?

Legislation is characterized by compromise, except on the very rare occasions when everyone totally agrees. Democrats' bill have been completely bereft of any such compromise or even any hope for it. They are justly piled up without action. The Senate will get around to voting them down (or die in committee) as they should be.

With the Dems' Impeachment dead, will they go back to being a legislative body, including the discussion and compromise necessary? Or devote all their time to investigating to find something else they can bash and smear the President for?
How do you know they are nonsense when McConnel won't even look at them?

Haven't seen the Senate write any bills lately either.

Interesting.

I haven't heard ANY democrat call for further investigations for almost 24 hours now.

Is this a record? Can't recall anything like this since Trump came down the escalator in 2015. The Dems' screams have been unceasing for nearly four years... until now.

Could the country actually be starting to recover from the long Democrat abuse?

Well they have already done much legislation/work and sent many bipartisan bills over to the Senate (such as Medicare being able to negotiate drug prices). However, the Senate has not taken any of them up.
