This has been all over the news feed this past week in my area. It's a bizarre incident, and is suspiciously close to what happened in another cop involved shooting a few years back that left an unarmed Black man, Corey Jones, dead, and in the end, the cop who killed him found guilty in a court of law.

In this case, the suspect had broken down, and the report is now, that the FHP officer had stopped to help and this is when the suspect opened fire and killed the officer. Then reports say another officer passing by noticed the incident and came to investigate and ended up looking for the suspect and killing him.

So, what do you think happened? As reported, or is there more going on? I do find it odd, that the body and dashboard cams haven't been released yet.

There was apparently more going on.

This link says there was a dispute going on re payment to a tow truck driver who says he got away only because Reed's gun jammed.

Better they take their time and get it right before releasing the video imo.
