Romney must be trying to cover up his own corruption. Very disappointed in him being the only R vote against President Trump.

Drain the swamp --- and start with this creep.

Yet another example of anyone that dares to defy Trump is "corrupt" or "a RINO" or any other host of things.

I heard bits of his speech and he seemed as genuine as any politician when he listed his reasons for his vote.

<shrug>

Q: HOW do you vote to acquit when you REFUSE to seek out ALL the facts?

A: It's easy(and sleazy) when you utterly FAIL to live up to the oath you took.

So doing impartial justice as his oath required is vindictive? Standing up against an immoral president makes one a loser?

No principles permitted
. What admirable commandments ye of the Republican Party follow.

It’s sad when hyper partisans compare someone who didn’t go along with a political party with our nation’s most notorious traitor.

Romney must believe a person is guilty until proven innocent is the only possible explantation.

They say that Benedict Arnold sold out his country. That category fits all 52 republican senators who voted to acquit the mobster who squats in the White House. It fits Romney least of all. But to be able to read the history books of the future. They will tell a story that is different than the Trump sycophants are chanting in unison today. Imagine, "Grandpa, what did you do when Trump tried to turn America into a dictatorship?"
