Yes, there were others that were also seated, but these two deserve the extra scorn for their self serving stunt because of their extreme sense of self importance. Morons.

Music superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z are gaining widespread attention after footage emerged on Sunday night showing the couple sitting during the national anthem while attending the Super Bowl in Miami.

In footage first posted by TMZ that has been picked up by a number of outlets, the couple could be seen sitting with their oldest daughter in the stands as Demi Lovato sang “The Star Spangled Banner” ahead of the kickoff.

Meh, I don't care. Don't hate them, but not a fan at all. However, it's two Americans practicing their right to not stand up for a song. Maybe they were jealous because Demi Lovato did a good job singing it

One of the strangest things about this country, is that anyone thinks that people like Beyonce and JayZ are important.

American anthem and flag... means nothing

American money... all for it

total lack of awareness that the anthem, flag, laws, freedom, etc. that this country is based on allows them to afford their lifestyle

Not my money. Not my problem. If you guys worry about maga, black lives matter or social justice and are worried about Beyoncé and Jay z. That is your problem.

One can be patriotic and love their country...but hate the govt in place. The two are not mutually exclusive.

This is what so many people failed to recognize with the 'taking a knee' thing...those people loved America, but they took a knee in protest of the govt in power!

We do not display patriotism for a govt...that is reserved for the nation itself.

Thinking about your comment, I agree. It's about the almighty dollar and patriotism is dead.
I really wonder if they would feel the same way if all of our modern conveniences went away, that people were drafted, and/or no one could afford to see them perform.

I do not know anything about them, so I do not much care. I would not listen to their music or buy their products or do anything to support hem after this stunt, but I don't anyway. Beyonce - I have heard of. It think she is a famous pop singer. It is possible I have heard her songs, but not likely since I do not like pop. The other one - is he related to Penny's clothing stores? I really do not think they are important enough to care whether they sit or stand. Just some ******* in the stands refusing to show respect or patriotism. Who cares? They are irrelevant.
