Christina Aguilera, at the beginning of today’s game, screwed up the Super Bowl National Anthem. The song ended up taking longer, due to verses being flubbed and repeated at the wrong time. She even got lyrics and notes wrong and repeated them that way.

If you don't know the words, don't sing the National Anthem.
Also, don't add 236 extra syllables.
Just sing it the way it was written.

She was so involved in showing off vocally that she forgot to simply sing the song correctly, lyrics and all! Very sad.

This "woman" is an idiot and a national disgrace. I seriously would love to have a conversation with the person responsible for picking both her, and the the half-time entertainment for tonight's game.

Sad she didn't put anymore thought into her performance then she did.

Luckily Aguilera is white so she can be criticized on how she did it. There was a similar performance in Indiana and the race card was pulled immediately:

Default Me too

I think it was an awful performance. Even if she hadn't mixed up the words or verses, she made it sound terrible with all of the extra notes, syllables and ranges. The only part that was truly recognizable was "Oh, say can you see" and then it went downhill from there.
