Interesting, I just remember Xerox stock dropping to $5/share in late 2000 and people wondering if they were going to fold, and Xerox was at the time a huge employer in the Rochester area (where I was still living at the time)

Yes... and the early post-recession economic success was all Bush.

I was actually job hunting right around that time. I had stopped taking computer programming classes in the summer of 2000 and started sending out resumes one day. I actually got responses the very next day. From about August-September or October I got lots of interviews (though no job offers). I seem to recall it started slowing somewhere later in the fall of 2000, but not horribly at first. Then, by Feb or March 2001 it had just died and I wasn't getting any interest at all. So, in my book starting the recession somewhere early in 2001 would be about right.

So are you saying we are still feeling the Obama economy and this year will be the first year of Trump's policies?

You could have just elevated one of the hundreds of voter fraud threads or just read Trumps voter fraud commissions findings.

So you are saying it took Obama 6 years to do something but you only want to give Trump 3 years and make the comparison !!! Fortunately Trump will have an additional 3 plus years !!! Then we will see !!!

We have seen the republican plan, gerrymandering, voter ID laws and changing the laws when they lose an election as was the case in North Carolina and Wisconsin. They are losing in the house and losing governorships and legislatures across the country, they know Trump is their last gasp.

Then you better hope Sanders doesn't get in and grab your IRA to share "your" wealth with those who have none.
