He's not going to resign. This whole thing is a dog and pony show for the rubes, to convince them that Barr isn't Trump's lapdog. And the rubes probably believe it, which is the whole point. Those of us with brains can easily see the ruse.
Completely agree. The idea that Barr - an acolyte who worships an extreme view of the unitary Executive - is going to publicly rebuke the President is laughable on its face. Anyone who buys this act is just Trump’s mark.
Eventually a bunch who have left his administration will come out in droves (because there's so many) and speak up about him all at once and it won't be pretty..
Its one thing if you have 1-3 disgruntled rats.. But if you have 15 people saying the exact same things.. Its probably true. Especially since HE hired them to be part of his administration
I hope they do this... about a week or two before the election in November
Barr is too childish to be AG.
The AG should not be criticizing the President through the media.
If Barr has a problem with Trump he should tell Trump privately.
Yeah that's it, show tRump the same respect tRump shows daily through his stupid, idiotic tweets. Talk about being too childish. You couldn't even guess how many times this clown criticized people through the media and tweets. One should think of the hypocrisy of their supportive posts.
Once again, his own attorney general has asked him to lay off the Justice Department and quit making his job tougher than it has to be. Yet, Trump refuses to listen and doubles down on the nonsense.
oh you -- that was all orchestrated. You don't believe Trump didn't know that Barr was going to say 'I don't like Trump tweeting because it makes my job harder".....lol
Oh boy -- some people so easily played.
This was all orchestrated to try and make Barr seem like he has some integrity in his job and Trump can still seem to be the number one guy in charge...or some kind of funky scenario.
That's what CNN told you, so that must make it true? Really?
I literally heard a CNN panelist say that yesterday.
Its nice and neat, but its complete speculation and conspiracy theory dependent on Barr keeping his job.
What will you say if Barr resigns?
I know he likes do double down when he's criticized but he needs to learn when enough is enough. Barr has already made public statements criticizing him on this. Let it be, Donald. Let it be.
President Trump on Friday asserted he has the “legal right” to order Attorney General Bill Barr to do anything he wants in criminal cases handled by the Justice Department — a day after the nation’s top law enforcement officer criticized the commander-in-chief’s tweets.
“‘The President has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case.’ A.G. Barr,” the president said in a tweet, quoting what Barr told ABC News in an exclusive interview Thursday.
“This doesn’t mean that I do not have, as President, the legal right to do so, I do, but I have so far chosen not to!” Trump added.
Let us know when he asks YOU for advise!
