"She was charged with the Federal crime of obstruction of justice". Ergo, your first sentence is flat out wrong.

Police chiefs are political appointees. Most are honorable women/men, but some, as in the case of sanctuary cities, do what's best for their careers, i.e., what the left wing radical elected officials tell them to do, not what's best for their cities.

99.9% of all those asylum claims are unfounded and then out they go. Happens everyday.

How many hypocritical right wingers business owners in sanctuary cities like SF, LA, NYC, Chicago, etc u are going to find?

Why do you assume rich business owners are all right wingers? Is Bloomberg, whos a billionaire, a right winger?

Yep.

I've seen and heard over the yrs people on the right talking about liberalism being a disease or a sickness. I'm starting to think they may be right. I'm a center left guy and the craziness coming from the left is out there.

E-Verify is a failure, it doesn't work.

biggest problem is it checks the paperwork, not the worker.

this explains it pretty well

this will all be decided in the November election....

Do you want open borders and free healthcare for people who are here illegally? If so,

vote Democrat.

No wall is high enough nor patrols deep enough so long as undocumented people from anywhere can easily find work and business owners face no serious consequences.for violating federal law.

Big Ag, the hospitality industry, the Restaurant Association and the US Chamber of Commerce lobbies oppose
EVerify.

I have no issue with turning undocumented people charged/ convicted of crimes over to ICE. Charge ICE a per diem fee for failure to promptly pick up the detainee.
They try in my county. Getting that room and board bill for illegals paid is another story.
