Rep. James Clyburn is the House Majority Whip, which is the highest position of power the “diversity democrats” will give a black man. He went on Fox Business News to bull**** the incredible Trump economy.

“[Trump has] delivered the goods for a lot of African Americans, has he not? With record low unemployment levels…you don’t think that’s constructive?” host Neil Cavuto asked.

No, because it’s not true,” replied Clyburn.

Who you gonna believe, an anti-Trump democrat or you lying’ eyes?

“I’m saying that the African-American unemployment is not the lowest it’s ever been unless you count slavery. We were fully employed during slavery. So it all depends how you measure this up,” said Clyburn.
I get where he’s coming from. He’s a democrat and slavery was the last time democrats got black people working. Of course he’s going to defend his party’s last policy success. Sad to see, isn't it?

Majority Whip the highest position of power the “diversity democrats” will give a black man.... Posts that start out with bald faced, deliberate outrageous lies, such as this one, are meant for whom? Surely not the informed, educated and diverse Democratic Party voters?

In case someone is thinking "fake news" (as I did when I read it) here are other sources where he's quoted:

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/4...ent-numbers-we

https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2020...uring-slavery/

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...s-we-were-ful/

So yes, it appears that there are Democrats that really think this was true. Perhaps some posters on this board should tell him that slavery was a bad thing???

Perhaps some on this board should point out to the OP that disingenuous, Parscale posting of pretzel pablum is pathetically transparent.

Funny isn't it? Quote a Dem leader actually making a fool of himself and the Dims all fall into place attacking the messenger, rather than the person that made the idiotic, racist statement? Not exactly surprising is it?

LOL! that is some GREAT alliteration, corpgypsy!

as to Clyburn's comment, I don't understand how he can deny the economic success of black citizens during the last three years, including low employment and greater wealth accumulation.

Wow. Democrats are so desperate to hide the fact that blacks are at the lowest unemployment rate EVER (under Trump) that one of them (and a black man, yet) has to downplay that by saying they were more fully "employed" (??) under slavery. Now I've heard everything.
