A 19-year-old German climate change sceptic who has been described by her supporters as “the antidote to Greta Thunberg”, is gaining support from right-wing organisations, including Germany’s far-right party AfD party, and a think tank with links to The White House.

It’s like when the mad scientist in a game or cartoon series creates an anti-version of the protagonist...

Well, if they do prop up someone, they'd be wise to find someone who isn't as damn grating on the nerves as Thunberg, her message gets lost because she' so annoying.

She’s just very vocal, but the science behind her is solid, backed up by the scientific community and all respected institutions.

It’s very simple, we keep adding CO2 to atmosphere and the planet is going to heat up. Oceans are going to rise. Climate we been used to for last 10,000 years is going to change. This is just scientific reality.

She's much more attractive than Greta. So at least conservatives got that right.

So once again, the right-wing's answer is to copy exactly what the liberals are doing except in a less intelligent form.

Reminds me of the website they started to counter YouTube, except it basically just copied all the right-wing content from YouTude and called it a day.

It's not quite the same thing as a mentally ill child who has been abused by her parents into believing the world is coming to an end.

It's not nice to say that about your president, even if there are lots of facts behind it.

Of course this is counterbalanced by the fact that in order to criticize Greta (a child) conservatives apparently feel the need to default to comparing "attractiveness", thus the mega-creepo vibes of making the comparison in the first place pretty much obliterates any point they seem to think they were making.
