I know this is in Trump's wheelhouse in that he is getting a bunch of a praise... but he has positively affected many people of color. These people aren't up there lying about their lives. So let him take his credit. One person mentioned that generational wealth is returning to the black community.
And just to be clear - these people are responsible for their own success. Trump/the government merely sets the environment for people to thrive.

Ok, let's have a quick look at the people who were in attendance:
Angela Stanton-King served time in prison for being part of a stolen-vehicle ring and got pardoned from Trump. What do you expect her to say?
Terrence K. Williams - a fake news right-wing nut who, among other crazy things, claimed that Epstein was killed by the Clintons. [[eyeroll]]
Scott Turner - he works for the White House.
Brooke Rollins - works for the White House.
Katrina Pierson - same.
Rob Smith - long time Republican.
Deneen Borelli - frequent Fox News guest.
Stacy Washington - long time conservative columnist.
David J. Harris - runs a pro-Trump podcast
First all of, these are roughly the same 10 or so African American that have been sticking with Trump since 2016; those are not new faces - they didn't get enlightened and discovered Trump is good - they've been thinking this way from the very beginning.
Second, a few of them actually are staff at the White House. That's like a staff at Denny's commenting on how awesome their scrambled eggs are - it's not real, it's advertising.
Third, some of them actually makes a living by supporting Trump. Yes, I fully expect Phillip Morris to say cigarettes are healthy. That's just their bank account talking.
Fourth - Jack Brewer is literally the ONLY PERSON in this room where you can say he was won over by the Trump administration. One person in this entire room that probably doesn't have a selfish agenda.
Bravo. In the right-wing world, this must be like winning the lottery.
May I remind the conscientious reader of the following:
The Central Five were not invited: Wonder why?
The hundreds of Minorities that he tried( and mostly succeeded) to oust when revamping his Buildings and rent controls. He settled out of court yet most know he despised minorities...and still does.
Where was Omarosa ?
It would take a narrow mind to welcome this media garbage as his proof he isn't racist. He is so dipped in it ...
The only people who have not experienced the positive effect of the Trump presidency are those who refuse to.
The rising tide of the last 3 years has lifted every soul who has not shackled himself to the bottom.
It would take a narrow mind to welcome this media garbage as his proof he isn't racist. He is so dipped in it ...
Omarosa is known for being a psycho, ask anyone who worked with her in the White House, she was a mess.
Credit to Trump for giving her opportunities that she didn't deserve.

But I thought he only hired the best?
Was she the best psycho?

Hiring the best doesn't mean everyone you hire will be a good fit, you give them a trial period and terminate them and continue your search for the best.
Pence, Pompeo and Barr are probably the 3 best hires America has ever seen, and they are 3 of the most important positions in America.
Nikki Haley too, but she only committed for a couple of years.
One of the things I thought that was good was what Diamond or Silk said at the end.
They were doing their thing for Trump early on - and when he met with them, he told them to make sure and monetize what they were doing - and they have.
Little tidbits of wisdom like that can be the difference in helping spread the wealth to more of our communities. It's not Trump or the government giving us stipends... it's creating the environment (both outside in the culture and workplace, but more importantly planting positive seeds in our minds) where WE are creating our own wealth. And inside ourselves, that can be much more valuable that money.
Also - Trump mentioned how the HBCU reps had to come back to his office every year and beg for funds to help out their campuses. After 3 years of this - Trump said it was stupid and demeaning for them to have to do that - and secured funding for them for 10 years.
