In Tennessee it's about abortion, gay marriage, and "family values." Democrats aren't going to surrender to the Christian Right on those issues. Therefore, the party is pretty much dead in the Bible Belt outside of the major cities.

None of the Democrats visited Tennessee after the recent tornadoes, kind of like how President Trump visited us here in Louisiana after the 2016 floods even though his victory here was ensured, but Obama was too busy playing golf and Hillary was too busy campaigning elsewhere to visit. Obama simply couldn't disturb his taxapayer funded golf vacation to visit disaster victims here.
Neither Crazy Bernie, Sleepy Joe, nor Pocahontas visited Tennessee after the torandoes, none of them even addressed this tragedy at all.
Voter fraud could help the Democrats make Tennessee competitive. There’s a church at every corner, and they love their guns in TN. Doubt Dems could even make TN light red.
Democrats might have a better chance here in AZ, but I still think they’ll fall short again this time around.
Move more sensible people from the north and west into the state. It’s worked in Virginia and NC.
And is probably about to in Arizona, too. But yeah, I'm sure that'll happen here someday, even if not soon... Never forget how fast Nashville and Murfreesboro are growing.
