The first death in Italy was reported on 22 February. So 12 people in a serious condition would be around 22 February.

There's no question Trump's constant downplaying, minimizing, shrugging, ignoring and lying about the virus hurt American response. It is possible some lives may have been saved if we hadn't wasted weeks on inaction -- if so, Trump will have blood on his hands.

Trump's latest lie: “I felt it was a pandemic long before it was declared a pandemic.”

The video proves he is lying through his teeth. This man must be removed from office in November.
50 million infected and 12000 dead from the swine flu under Obama. Did you say the same thing about his response?

Also, I suppose you complained and cried racism when he eliminated flights from China?

So a .002% mortality rate? Seems like he did the right thing in not shutting down.

COVID-19 is only running, what 120 times that mortality rate or so?

Too early to tell. Data we have now is skewed. In 2-4 weeks as more get tested, we should have a better idea.

Holy crap, new numbers from Italy: 472 deaths, 4,000 new cases in the last 24 hours.

we have to get ahead of this **** before those numbers happen here.

YOU were the one that made the initial comparison.

If you KNEW the current data is skewed then why would you make the faulty comparison in the first place?
Can you provide me a reason that is not fundamentally dishonest?

Here ya go. Scroll down to the charts. The charts are updated daily with WHO data.
Breakdown is per country.

Italy was at 3K confirmed cases on March 5...a mere 13 days ago; they are now at 35K
