Cruise lines moved their headquarters out of the country so they can avoid higher US taxes and avoid US regulations and US laws for employee protection.

I say no bailout. They wanted out.

If we must bail them out force them to move their headquarters back to the US at a minimum.

Let them fail, just like we should have done with Detroit and the auto industry, multiple times.

The ships themselves are registered in foreign countries. So much for America first.

No bailouts, sink or swim.

It's only been a couple of weeks. If they need help already, perhaps they shouldn't be in business.

Absolutely not. I have thought those cruise ships were filthy and grotesque from a long time ago, way before this virus.

Thousands of people crammed together on a moving condominium, same air circulating around, tons of elderly people, and food "buffets" left out all day long.

Gross. All that money when there are so many other wonderful things you could see and do for a nice, clean, healthy vacation.

The party of "rugged individualism" and "capitalism" is at it again straight from Karl Marx's playbook.

Hilarious. Millions of people lost their health insurance under Trump but he doesn't care about them - just about the cushy cruise line corporations.

Cruises are the lamest thing ever. Did one, and I’ll never do that again.
