Indeed. Show a little class people, especially in a time of crisis when we need the country to be less divided. There are numerous fair points of criticism in how our country has responded to the epidemic, but this isn’t remotely one of them.
When a president flounders, misleads, and lies in a crisis, that is indeed definitely something to be criticized.
I get a kick at how outraged that poster is that people would insult Trump or call him names, when those things are Trump's stock in trade. And see no irony in the fact. It just doesn't get any funnier than that.
I agree, let’s criticize those points, not his appearance or reading abilities.
Except ... a president's reading abilities are crucial to the job. And by abilities, I'm including not just his publicly reading off a teleprompter, but his inability to read paperwork in his office. (Hey, remember when Obama was mocked for using a teleprompter?) And, unfortunately for Trump, in his case, his appearance is often relevant. He's in the unhappy position of having many things that would be irrelevant in others, be meaningful with him.
but in their defense, he is only lashing out because they are calling him out on his b.s.
