When I research the 2003 SARS outbreak and the timeline of how it was contained on the CDC website and I compare the botched response today. It feels like there's nothing but amateurs running our country putting us in third world status.

I'm convinced America is falling apart due to incompetent leadership and panic behavior. Most of the world is not falling apart. I've been in UK and Ireland since March 2 and they are going through some collective sacrifices and serious changes but not the insanity that is going on in the US. In the meantime we can all thank Trump for the Coronavirus spread in the US. He cut funding to the CDC in order to fill the pockets of his wealthy buddies and corporations. Not only that the moron in charge totally refused to see this pandemic coming and did nothing telling Americans it was the common cold and go to work. Worse yet for the Trump regime is that a seventeen year old name Avi Schiffmann saw the pandemic coming in December 2019 and created a website clearly showing the spread of the disease.
If you lose someone you love because of Covid 19 you can thank Trump directly.

He will point out how Obama/Biden did none of these things in 09. People thinking Biden can just coast to victory are deluding themselves.
Of course. Biden is vastly more experienced than Trump so doesn't spout off in ignorance. He's known for having a wide respected acquaintance in politics, unlike Trump who had to make do with third-rate people. He will mend fences internationally. He's not a drama queen like Trump. He won't have people on pins and needles with vindictive tweets.
