A new lawsuit against current and former top Trump administration officials who oversaw and implemented policies that led to the separation of migrant families near the U.S.-Mexico border is seeking potentially millions of dollars in damages on behalf of thousands of parents and children.

My question is why didn't the ACLU seek damages against the Obama administration that did the same thing?

It is honestly a conflict feeling of emotions one might sympathize with what migrant families go through while also wanting to adhere to our immigration laws.

The ACLU is an arm of the DNC who wants open borders.

Why isn't the ACLU suing when the children of a car thief is separated from their father?

This opens the door for any citizen suing against a law that they don't think applies to them.

Great precedent to set.

Also: Waiting for the day it is illegal to say you are a US citizen.

ACLU basically wants U.S. taxpayers to pay even more money to illegal aliens.

No thanks. ACLU is a leftwing, pseudo-marxist organization that has nothing to do with fighting for liberty.

The media did some ground work and ran a story recently on the emotional damage migrants suffered. You could see this coming since then. Absolutely disgusting how the media is propaganda arm of the left.
