Moms of the year are the ones who quit their jobs to raise their kids. I applaud moms who home school because it's very hard. But this is where we are in this uncertain time. I know many can't do that though. Ivanka certainly could but she chose not too. And that's fine but certainly not mom of the year.
Point is you seem to have forgotten that you enjoyed time with your kids even though it was a financial struggle - in order to justify you being offended by Ivanka, who is just encouraging other parents to do what you did.
I'm not offended by Ivanka at all lol I was just posting that many were. But it was very insensitive of her. That's all

Financially strapped mothers cannot afford that luxury and now more than ever, the income disparity is extremely apparent...that is where the complete insensitivity enters into this equation. It's not like it's the first time Ivanka Trump has displayed a lack of empathy that comes from existing in an entitled bubble.
I think there are many who would take offense of Ivanka's tweet. She has the luxury to stay home with her kids anytime she wants. There are millions of women who just can't afford to do that. How about tips on how to feed their family when they're not getting paid.

Sounds like you are very defensive and lashing out. And that jealousy thing you put out there is projection. I was raised not to be envious of anyone but then again I had a very kind, honest and brilliant father who cared about others and was faithful to my mother so maybe Ivanka Trump should be jealous of me.
