You really can't stop stupid people from being stupid and very little of that has anything to do with Trump.

Also, technically chloroquine is not a fish tank "cleaner". It is added to fish tanks to treat and prevent certain ameoba-caused diseases in fish. https://reefs.com/magazine/aquarium-...fish-diseases/

I honestly don't know who Ari Melber is, but you have not posted any evidence that he has lied about anything. The Arizona man drank chloroquine phosphate, which is the same compound used to treat malaria. If Melber insinuated that Trump was responsible for this, I would disagree, but that would be his opinion, thus not a lie.

But now the picture is becoming more clear to me. I doubt that you watched Ari Melber on MSNBC and concluded that he was lying. Apparently you came to this belief because Greg Gutfield of Fox News told you that. And Marc Segal of Fox News provided misinformation on chloroquine phosphate. So this whole thing is not an example of MSM*lying, but rather than example of Fox News lying.

(* BTW, I don't consider MSNBC to be MSM. They are exclusively cable, relatively small audience and appeal to the far left. They are the lliberal counterpart to Fox News.)

I stand corrected. It looks like both Ari Melber and Dr Segal both deceived me. Which was really the point of my OP. I’m still looking for a video to post but to date have not found it. But I know what I heard on FOX and MSNBC.
Also you have no idea at all who is lying since you didn’t see what I saw.

It was the drano-version, not a medication..........but I guess that is Trump's fault.

So, I am seeing all the Dem's skreeeeeching about this and that on the TV..........viewing everything
they say with a jaundiced eye.

I actually saw Ari Melber on MSNBC say that this man died after taking chloroquine, which was false he took chloroquine phosphate.
Um, chloroquine phosphate is EXACLY the generic/chemical name of the drug that Trump is touting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloroquine

No, they shouldn't have taken it.

Chloroquine phosphate is not a harmless substance. As with many medications, dosage is the key. The correct amount works. Overdose can kill. Which is why chloroquine phosphate has not yet been approved to treat this virus. The dosages used to treat malaria, lupus and/or rheumatoid arthritis may or may not be the same as the best dosage to treat corona virus.

And Trump is absolutely wrong to be touting the use of a potentially fatal chemical when it is unknown whether the dosages used to safely treat other conditions are also effective against the corona virus.

Although the names are apparently interchangeable one substance is an over the counter medication and the other is used in fish tanks.
Ari Melber of MSNBC stated that the the idiot who took the one used for fish tanks took prescription cloroquine.
