I'm not going to read it. The Atlantic is very liberal and extremely biased against Trump. What I do know is that had Biden been president at this time, he would have a) kept the flights coming in from China (wouldn't want to look xenophobic), b) not been able to cut through all the government red tape to get testing kits made and out in record time (we've tested in 8 days the same number that took S. Korea 8 weeks), and c) not pulled together the brilliant minds from private industry to all pull together in developing PPEs, researching treatment drugs, and developing a vaccine.
And the American people KNOW it. They see it every day when Trump holds his press conferences. That's why the liberal WaPo asked that the pressers not be covered. They reveal how well Trump is handling this.
Do you think you'll finally be able to move on with your life once Trump wins re-election and Democrats lose the House? Do you think that will finally allow you to hit acceptance in your processing of grief?
How you guys have been going on for the last 4 years isn't healthy and it's held the DNC back. We need 2 viable parties in this country, so we need you guys to return to sanity. You've already bombed 2 presidential elections over it. This needs to be the end of it.

Trump could have been a great president, he had a lot going for him, some of his ideas had promise, and if he was a true populist he would have won the hearts and minds of the American people.
Trump deserves to be called out, and he will be, because he proves weekly, if not daily, that he is unfit for office. This was known before he was elected, but there were too few who knew about the Donald, all they knew was the reality TV Trump and they believed his outrageous lies.
It won't end when he is out of office, there will still be a lot of court appearances for him, as they are backing up in states across the country. Once out of office the man will probably never know peace, and he understands that better than anyone. He could wind up like his buddy Epstein.
And that is all his own doing. No one asked for Trump to be such a criminal and deviant, he chose that path himself. C'est la vie.

Before the travel ban was announced most major airlines had already suspended flights to China.
It was a unanimous decision among health officials. It would've been any president making the same call.
It was just foreign nationals. People still came into the country from China. And despite there existing test kits, the US refused them, and plenty of people likely were not picked up in screenings due to its incubation period.
