Tue 9/8/2015 - 5pmEST Update: Winds 35mph, moving West at 18mph, pressure 1007mb

What remains of Grace continues to have small flare ups of life but they have been short lived thus far. The NHC says this pattern may continue but that shear and dry air should cause continued overall weakening and what remains could become just a remnant low in 36 hours or less.

No changes from comment in previous post. Expected continued weakening - hostile environment for tropical systems.

Wed 9/9/2015 - 11amEST Update: Winds 30mph, moving West at 18mph, pressure 1008mb.

Grace is now considered just an open wave with no closed circulation. Not expected to redevelop. Possibly could bring some scattered showers to portions of the Caribbean this weekend. Some rougher seas may be present with it.

***This is the last public advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center on this system.***

The remnants of what once was Grace is making its way into the Caribbean bringing much needed scattered showers and some higher seas.

Friday night Puerto Rico radar (most appears to be passing to the south for now):

Puerto Rico Friday evening forecast:

Puerto Rico Saturday forecast:

Earlier Friday note on what's approaching:

Grace has a near 0% chance of reforming over the next 5 days.
