The CDC is by no means MIA.
Hey Hawkeye:

I know you are normally a pretty militant right winger on this site.

I have to send kudos to you for being a voice of reason here lately when many of your compatriots have gone all in with lies and BS for purely political/ideological reasons.

Hats off.

Serious question. No snark.

Being both a Doctor and an ardent Trump supporter why do you figure Trump isn't allowing them to have a voice in the briefings as has been done in the past?

That sounds logical !!!

Gov. Cuomo could have anyone he wants at his news conference and would be the first to speak up if the CDC was being muzzled !!!

The object of this thread is obvious !!! Find fault, doubt, and smear Trump !!! Situation normal !!!

Trump smears himself. He doesn't need any help in that department.

What solution exactly is the Trump administration in overdrive trying to expedite at the moment?

The virus disappearing like a miracle didn't pan out, nor did the drive-through testing stations in the Walmart parking lot.

So what else are Team Trump & Kushner working on so diligently?
"They" refers to CDC, not Trump's administration. Read more carefully.

The CDC is still working and hard- but the speaker for CDC went on "The HILL " for an interview to express her concerns.

""an exclusive interview, Dr. Anne Schuchat, the principal deputy director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said her agency is seeing early signs that the number of cases in other cities are already beginning to spike""

I'm wondering if the White House has forced them to stay behind the scenes and keep quiet? It's certainly not normal behavior by the CDC in times like these. We do have a paranoid President, so silencing the department doesn't seem unlikely. They have classified all internal discussions on the subject.
