And Urgent Care sometimes will refer you to the ER if the condition is serious. It does not mean they don’t want to treat you.
I have fantastic health insurance. when my son was 1 week old, he had an infection in his umbilical cord stump. We took him to urgent care and they referred him to children hospital ER.
So did a number of regimes in Europe and Asia over the past 100 years (value some human lives over others). Most of us despise them. Apparently you are not one of those people.
I feel sad that people like you breed and pass on that mentality.
I take that as a compliment.
Look, OP, you will never be able to make me think and fell like you.

Unfortunately, there are too many like you who do not value all human beings. I am saddened by that, but I also am wise enough to know that your insecurities and superiority complexes often can not be mitigated. Fortunately, most in a society do not feel like you do.
That’s ok. I repped u. I have no tolerance for anyone that caters to illegals. Politicians that don’t abide by existing immigration law should be arrested and prosecuted. Running for office shouldn’t be an option.
Most urgent care facilities advertise under the same name as the hospitals they are associated with.
Does not make them extensions of ERs.
My husband took a flyer off a ladder and I took him to a Urgent Care facility that had x ray facilities.
First question asked was for our proof of insurance and once verified online, the $35 co-pay. This facility was in our vast PPO network so substantial discounts were applied.
Likely would have been referred to the ER had we not been insured or able to otherwise pay out of pocket.
All the urgent care facilities that I have seen in FL have been right next to the hospital.
They have signs right there that explain the difference, local one has an example.
Poison ivy - Urgent care
Venomous snake bite - ER
Some hospitals, especially trauma centers, have Urgent Care and ER under one roof. Life and death go to the ER. All else to UC.
Free standing Urgent Care facilities tend to be separate legal corporations within a larger hospital system. There are not the same as an ER. They do not have the same obligation as the hospital.

My point is that all the ones in FL that I have seen, and the OP was speaking of FL, have the ER and UC right next to each other.

Personal attacks do not move or sway me.
What strikes me is when people launch needless personal attacks, which is a red-flag indication of lack of substantive arguments. It's kinda like a child tantrums when he/she knows it's not getting its way.
