Did you ever think the most powerful , richest, country will have to let people die, health professionals to risk contamination in order to do their jobs without protection?
Is it even possible this is due to the lack of will to save lives? To simply let the old and sick die?
He used the DPA to force GM to make them.
Many companies are in process of making them that have never made them before but the DPA isn't something magic that can cause them to go from 0-100% rate instantly.

Yes he could have. But he didn't know they needed them. It's up to local governments to petition him for vents a month ago, because they know best what they need. They did not. Cuomo was making headlines asking for 30,000 vents last week. That's too late to be asking for that many vents.

It's not his job to know the number of vents per municipality and what is needed. That's the job of local leaders to communicate that to him. They failed there.

I get sick and tired of people on this forum supporting policy that leads to outsourcing of manufacturing jobs then complain about our capacity to manufacture while having no understanding of manufacturing.
