Good points, corporate America owns the government and the courts while people make senseless partisan arguments. The middle class has been stagnant for 30 years while executives make 300 times the average worker yet here they are making arguments worried about socialism.
This pandemic has exposed some real weaknesses in our country, I see people waiting for miles on line at food banks in several cities. So much for the healthy economy.

Not all liberal policies cause the middle class to die. If you wanna pull an AOC and implement her federal tax brackets - i.e. tax the rich @ 70% on 10 mil+ and in exchange reduce the middle class/poor's federal income tax, it'll reverse that trend. Anyone with half a brain can figure that out.

Yep, if you took all the money and distributed it evenly, the haves would soon have most of it again.
Progressive taxation's whole point is to counter that effect.
I mean real progressive taxation - not this 400k+ 37% rate as the top bracket, the tax situation right now is nowhere near as progressive as it needs to be. Thank Reaganomics for that.

It is bootstrap capitalism for the majority of the people in this country and handouts and socialism for the rich.
That is what we have in this country.
