Pick one congressman.
Good point !!!
While congress has lots of work to do !!! Work that is beneficial to help the American people who are dying in the tens of thousands, they chose to stay out of session and out of their work place !!! They have essentially designated themselves nonessential !!!

The question is, does the good of the many out weigh the good of the one or does the good of the one out weigh the good of the many ?

If we look at congress as the one and the American people as the many we see the choice they have made by their action and whatever is said is of little importance compared to their action !!! No amount of talking or words can shield them from the choice they have made !!!
Congress exempts themselves from many of the laws they pass !!! What they can't exempt themselves from is the action they have taken !!! When life is put on the line, the life they choose to protect is their own = the good of the one out weighs the good of the many !!!
The American citizen should not look to congress to save the lives of people !!! They have a higher priority and that priority is their own lives !!! The lives of the nonessential !!!

Its like ripping off a band-aid before the bleeding has stopped. You're just going to end up with more blood and a replacement band-aid will have to go back on anyway.
Employing 10,000 people is worth the life of 10 people. It's all a matter of priorities of the majority.
