If you claim to be conservative or just opposed to government waste/corruption in general, but you tolerate it just because your "team" is in power, you're the one that is deranged.

Graft is good, mmkay. Now take your $1,200 check with my name on it and be quiet about it and remember whose in charge around here. On the flipside, Hanlon's razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. Either way we're pretty much boned two ways to Sunday. Either incompetence or corruption. Either way, they awarded a contract for $5.50 to a shell company that doesn't or barely exists to go out and procure masks which cost 60 cents.

There are hardly any conservatives on this board. The pseudo conservative big government authoritarians who speak for Trump are just that: pseudo-conservative aka fake conservatives.

The "TDS, TDS, TDS" response is classic gas-lighting, which is something they learned from Trump. They are suggesting you are mentally ill, or retarded (derangement is a mental illness) because you are not buying what they are selling.

Gaslighting: manipulate (someone) by psychological means into questioning their own sanity.

It happens.

Guess I have to remind OP of the DOE multi-year green energy boondoggle.

Overpriced streetcar projects: ATL as example, 2.7 miles, ~100mil

Solyndra: 535mil loan, not repaid tax money down the drain, "The family foundation of billionaire George Kaiser, an Obama fundraiser, is one of Solyndra's big investors. The GOP says that Team Obama interfered to speed up the loan approval, cutting short due diligence so that Vice President Joe Biden could announce the loan at the Sept. 4, 2009, groundbreaking of a new Solyndra factory being financed by that government cash." The Week

Fisker, everyone's favorite green energy project, funded by you and me, but to be built in Finland. Never happened, but Al Gore was happy as an 'investor'. Chinese buying bankrupt Fisker at taxpayer loss, gov says it could have been worse Loan guarantee sold to Chinese investor for a $139 million loss.

Yes, even in an emergency situation I expect enough vetting to find out that it’s a bankrupt company with no employees and no masks or way to make them. Approximately a 15 second google search.

Yes, those are also bad.

Or are you using those to excuse this because the "other team" had issues too? Are you talking principles or just partisanship?

Is corruption and waste bad, or only bad when the "other team" does it?

The Trump administration paid a bankrupt company with zero employees $55 million for N95 masks, which it's never manufactured
Corruption.

The people seemed to want a 'successful businessman' to run the country, we heard that a lot. Well, the guy they picked, that blowhard reality TV actor, that's how he (and his father before him) made money. Lie cheat and steal. Rich swindlers make connections with Trump (birds of a feather fly together) and deals are done. The American people get raped.

"Issues." Misguided green initiative and outright fraud. Kaiser got his investment back. Gore is still flying around in his private jet, inconveniently polluting the world.

$100 million for 2.7 miles?

Issues?

You are funny.

Had you chosen to be fair about this, you would have pointed out Mr Obama's many issues.

Here we go again...my party's less corrupt than your party, and my guy is less corrupt than your guy...snooze.

When are you all going to realize that the corruption is universal and systemic? They are all stealing from the bottom 99%.

Why even argue about which side is most corrupt? Really, why argue it?
