Im certainly not arguing against that position. Im questioning the notion that an otherwise healthy 60 year succumbed to the virus.

He had cancer briefly 32 years ago, had surgery, end of story.

After that, he had children and ran his family construction business, so it's not like he spent the last 32 years on Social Security Disability drinking beer all day and watching Gunsmoke re-runs.

For the record, the median age of death in Ohio is 51 years from COVID-19.

For those who might be confused, median and mean -- average -- are not the same thing.

The median age is the most common age of death, meaning if you had a graph, more people at age 51 die than any other age.

As I mentioned before, 73.1% of COVID-19 people are between age 18-64, not age 75-100.
All that bombast, lecturing and no cite. Right into the ole discard pile w/this post.

The man died from a severe case of ignorance, and if you need a cite for that--you may end up as a victim of your own ignorance.

Nothing makes liberals happier than an American Fake News tell them to hate dying.

The refusal to take part in the social distance effort is rooted in a firm belief that "it can't happen to me". So - any detail that sets you apart from the victim will be seized on.

Isn't it somewhat likely that a 60 year old has one or more conditions among heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, an autoimmune disorder, a condition requiring therapies that weaken the immune system, or cancer. And in any case, occasionally this kills healthy younger people.

People 60 and younger live with those conditions for years and decades. I'm not sure of your meaning, but there is a sentiment among some people that those who are dying were and are going to die anyway, like imminently. That's just not true. This virus is robbing people of years they'd have spent with their friends and loved ones.

We've got a live one in my business circle, live at least for now - lol. He is stereotypical like those protesters, loud, obese, muh-freedom gun totin' flag guy. He said this thing is just culling the herd and we should let it. He is the herd. So he is either self-loathing, doesn't care if he gets it passes it to his family and dies, scared and in denial or just a massive a-hole. He isn't ignorant or stupid, he is clear in his arguments but underlying motivation is unknown. I've never liked him, he is sexist. His brother in law and employer who basically supports him, is diabetic and is taking precautions.

I think his sister and BIL should cut him loose, like his two ex-wives did.

If it's a political ploy then the threat is only in your mind.
