It should say something else going on not someone else.

The hospitals are supposed to be overwhelmed yet my cousin was a a protest where she meet several dr’s and nurses who were furloughed. Why would they be furloughed if hospitals are overwhelmed? More and more places making masks mandatory. Neighbors turning in others for being outside (even though you are allowed to). I’ve noticed cops driving around my neighborhood and parked in the park areas. We are in a middle to upper class neighborhood. Most police presence I’ve noticed. It almost feels like we are being turned into a totalitarian society. Interesting how many states with republicans governors are starting to open up their states but democrat run states aren’t or haven’t announced yet. Do you think things will ever go back to normal?

Welcome to the USA that the left wants us to get used to. They will call you a RWNJ and conspiracy theorist, but they know the plan.

An anecdote with no evidence except your word on it. Forgive me if I don't believe you.

Show us proof that people are being turned in for being outside without a mask.

Yep. We have red state governors in states where the virus hasn't even peaked yet who are giving in to the rabble and will reopen. They will undoubtedly see a rise in their rate of infection and death in the coming weeks, but hey, the thugs got to wave their guns and Confederate flags around for a day or two, so it's all good.

Hospitals can’t provide any elective procedures because of the lack of PPE. This is how they make their money. Some hospitals are down 90% of their revenue. They have to furlough staff in order to keep afloat to help the sick.

We shouldn’t be opening up yet. We are in front of the curve right now. We need to keep it this way in order to thrive both economically and in public health.

That is a very good possibility, but I have to assume, the large businesses and corporations will not like that too much!! Nor will all the CEOs!

The furloughs are driven primarily by pressure from state and federal officials to postpone elective procedures, appointments, diagnostics and other services to preserve hospital beds, while many patients are postponing appointments to observe social distance restrictions.

Stay safe. Take precautions to protect yourself and others in your community. Things are strange and uncertain right now. There's no need to buy into conspiracy theories on top of it.

I think there really is a virus, and it really is dangerous, but there is a natural tendency amongst governments to always want more and more power and control. If unchecked it always happens, something many do not realize. So, of course, they are not goin to waste this crisis.

In addition, it is also actually election season, although it has seemed like election season all along since Trump's unexpected victory caused people to become completely unhinged. Many of those people are in the media, on late night television and in Hollywood, so we hear about how 'horrible' Trump is all the time. They're also not going to waste this crisis and are trying all they can to make Trump look bad at all costs.

Thirdly, people are freaking out. The economy is basically closed, people are sheltered in place, and there's no toilet paper. Geez, give us a break.
