Yes, in South Korea more than 160 recovered patients have tested positive again. At least 61 have developed symptoms. There's something going on that scientists don't quite understand yet. It's almost like the pathogen goes dormant, then activates again.

So in addition to being sentenced to 10 years, 15 years, whatever, the judge ordered them infected by a virus?

Release all non violent offenders. Put the rest in solitary or one inmate per cell until the outbreak is controlled.

I don't see anything harsh about that. Law abiding citizens are on house arrest all over this country.

Just one more occupational hazard that comes with choosing a life of crime.

Do you think there is special obligation to protect them from it?

You do realize that there are people who work in the prisons as well... law biding citizens and law enforcement as well as maintenance medical etc... It is small city. So it isn't just an occupational hazard of those choosing a life of crime.

I think some states started this.... non-violent offenders within 90 days of release in some cases.

Interesting. People can have antibodies yet be infected again. Things will never go back to normal at this rate with the nanny state firmly in place.

A Chinese study found that roughly 30% of the recovered patients had weak antibody response, and 5% showed no antibodies. Ironically, older age groups showed stronger antibody response. My guess is some people may need to have it more than once to build up a proper immunity.

It's still an occupational hazard for those who choose to work in that environment. Getting shanked is a similar potential hazard for those same people.
