Here we are... we are all forced to in our homes, we can't go out and do anything: no movies, no bars, no shopping, no fun. And the only thing we can do is get groceries.

I mean seriously we are all prisoners.

Now we are in the situation where we are hoping and praying every day that our overlords will let us get back to our lives.

And of course, we all thought that would happen when the cases went down.

But they aren't going down.

They just go on and on every day. More or less the same as the day before.

And question becomes... are we ever going to get out of this prison?

Will our imprisoners ever "let" us go back?

Yeah, this is still so unbelievable to me... I never imagined anything like this would happen in my lifetime. And so many people just accept it because they think their government is just protecting them. It's all starting to wear me down and I'm beginning not to care anymore.

But at least the U.S. isn't being as strict as other countries... In countries like Russia, citizens aren't allowed to wander too far away from their homes. Police can just stop them at any time and ask for their identification. If they're too far away from their home, they will get fined.

Prison? I'm free to go to the store, the parks, visit friends if I choose to be stupid; walk my dog; lounge in my comfy home.

A far cry from 'prison".

Movies: Who goes to the theater for movies anymore? 1998 called, they want their entertainment back. Any decent home A/V system sounds better and looks better than a movie theater, plus you don't have to deal with obnoxious people.

Bars: If going to bars is that important to you, there's an organization that can help. You can locate a nearby AAA chapter quickly using any internet search engine.

Shopping: Amazon. Learn it. Live it. Love it. Again, who shops in stores anymore if they can help it? Are you 85 years old?

Fun: I have tons of home improvement projects, car/motorcycle projects, and other things I can do it home that I enjoy.

Yes, there are some things I can't do because of the shutdown, but equating the situation to being in prison is a bit over the top.

But you live in Russia because you expect that sort of thing.

What is bothering me is the open ended nature of it. When exactly will we be able to return to our lives? Mum is the word on that, just keep promises and vague talk.

Jeebus. It's open-ended because the experts don't fully understand this virus yet. Calm down.

Honestly what is the difference. Other than my home is slightly bigger than a cell. A lot of people that committed crimes get "home detention" -- and that is what I have. But I didn't commit a crime.

This.

Honestly, I had so much more faith in Americans before this.

The record time that some people just gave up and swallowed everything the government and this MSM fed to them without even a single question ... I'm seriously shocked. And angry. And sad.

I'm not saying covid 19 isn't a real virus. I'm not saying it's not deadlier than seasonal influenza.

What I am saying is that I had more faith in Americans - that they would acutally question authority.

Now, not so much.
