No. It's our jacked up system and jacked up leadership.

Ask a thousand liberals when a human life begins and you’ll get a thousand different answers. Ask a thousand conservatives the same question and you’ll get one answer and it’s the same answer that a thousand biologists would give

NY had 148 deaths yesterday, with a peak of over 1000.

At its worst, Texas is seeing a tiny fraction of the deaths that NY is seeing now that it is "improving". And Texas has a much higher population than NY (and is gaining rather than losing).

Texas has the 11th lowest death rate in the entire nation, in spite of its huge population and major metro areas.

So, do tell...just how bad is Texas doing again?

I do t know about all 254 Counties in Texas, but in my County .... the deaths and really ill are in the .jsil and ?Prison. I still haven’t figured out how those locked up in a Prison/Jail are getting infected.

Biggest error of this entire thing was not locking down Senior Facilities And Prison/Jails.
These people were already Isolated/Quarantined ... and yet they are a huge percentage of the deaths.

Liberals are pretty uniform in their pseudoscientific belief that human life begins when the baby’s head fully exits the birth canal.

Absolutely right.

Dan Patrick, Gov Abbott and their rich friends hunker down safely while ordering everyone else to get back to work.

All it took was for the government to go on a crash program to manufacture surgical masks for everyone at 15 cents U.S. a piece and for 95% of the population to voluntarily wear them from Day 1.

That Great Wall of surgical face masks withstood everything the coronavirus threw at it, making quarantining and contact tracing easy jobs.
It sounds like you guys successfully "contained" it. That is no longer an option for us.

In fact, based on the quality of the information we got about the virus from the Chinese, not to mention the timing, it does not appear that "containment" was ever an actual option for us.

Being one of the most densely populated countries on earth which made social distancing impossible, only 110 miles from China, with tens of thousands of returnees from China, thousands of whom were undoubtedly asymptomatic carriers, the only options were for everyone to wear surgical face masks from Day 1 or die.

Fortunately sanity prevailed.

We had the same information the South Koreans and Vietnamese had.

The freedumb advocates would have made stopping this virus in its tracks difficult even if our leadership had a brain.
