The only way to be completely stealth is to carry zero technology and hope they aren't doing old school physical surveillance.
And even that doesn't work anymore because of satelite tech and everyone's house having cameras that feed into the cloud. Privacy is over. If you have a phone you are bugged 24/7/365.

You make a good point. If you cannot find something, ask an employee. Sam's Club did not have dish washing liquid in with the household cleaning supplies the last time I needed some, but they did have it with the commercial products. It was not what I would have normally bought, but good enough for the office break room.
If you hide your phone under your tinfoil hat, they won't be able to track you. Or just live in a Faraday cage.
