We had 2470 deaths in this country on April 27th (not a record high, but a short term spike). We have had 5 straight days of declining deaths since, with today's count at 1154-the lowest since March 31st. Things are heading in the right direction, in spite of all the FUD from the mainstream media.

Just guessing....but does FUD stand for fkd up data? (I've always been good with acronyms.)
I'm just happy to see some positive news, with daily deaths less than 1/2 of their peak. Somehow though, I doubt we'll see it touted on our network news shows.

Here's my fear: these numbers are so easy to manipulate, and with the liberal governors trying to keep their states shut, it's easy to inflate. It used to be that if someone died from the end stage of cancer but ALSO caught COVID in the hospital, they counted it as a COVID death; but now, they don't even have to get a positive or test at all. If a person has symptoms of COVID (in addition to being at the tail end of, say, pancreatic cancer), they call it a COVID death.
The other thing to explore is the fact that they were predicting a very bad flu season, and the number of flu deaths came in much lower. Liberals are attributing that to the lockdown, but could it not be that people who died with flu are being instead labeled as COVID, so that the number of flu deaths is more than being reported while the number of COVID deaths is lower?

Agree-we have a lot of left-wing media and politicians that seem desperate to keep the lockdowns in place. They are running out of reasons to justify those lockdowns and their hold on their newfound power.
OK....that would be fkd up beyond all repair and ….. can't come up with anything cute for the other.
or F'ed up beyond all recognition. SNAFU, Situation Normal, All F'ed Up. Both of those are old, at least from WWII, if not earlier.
