Have any of you factored this into that stat on black illegitimacy?
Quote:
To summarize--there is no data to show that the black "illegitimacy" figure of 70 percent has been caused by unmarried black women having more kids than they did in the past. In fact, the trend is the exact opposite. What is clear is that the behavior of married black women has changed, to the point that married black women are actually having less kids than married white women.
This reminds me of another lazily researched statistic about there being more black men in prison than in college. This stat is only true if you're including all Black men regardless of age. The majority of black men of college age aren't in prison.
Interesting read. So married black women have less children which contributes to the statistic. Also note that there is a smaller but growing number of successful black women who are going the route of sperm donors. Having out of wedlock children isn’t always the result of an non-marital relationship but still contributes to statistics.
Its too bad young fatherless black men and boys are glorified in American mainstream society and media. How many rich rappers, athletes, and artist, share the same narrative. Their story seems to always begin with them being the child of the single teenage mom struggling in the mean gritty streets of urban America. Its like it adds to the marketability of an African American if they can prove they were poor, fatherless and had to navigate through drug and gang territory to get to elementary school. What would you expect? These are the black men who are singled out for fame and fortune.
I thought you Trumpistas had moved on to hating Asians.
