Remdesivir has been given for free to treat right now.

Remdesivir is being studied and shown to be effective - in medical studies around the world.

Hydroxychloroquine has had a few studies but more have shut down then have proven to support it as a successful treatment -- except for the one questionable report from the politically driven group of doctors.

You're suddenly interested in possible corruption, but not concerned about Trump or the plutocracy in this country undertaking the heist in history with the tax windfall for the 1% that they have been engaging in for the past 3 years?!

Why focus on one area, and not all corruption?

My solution is that I do not patronize any part of that system. Beyond that, not my circus, not my monkeys.

Covid is all done -- Trump is moving on.

He's failing miserably and the press briefings were not living up to his hopes so he canned them.

You don't go to the doctor or take medicine or plan to? Or plan for the future, when you're elderly, sick or have an accident? You think you will just be able to avoid the healthcare system forever?

Bill Gates has more money then he knows what to do with and is quite open about that fact. Do really think that he can be influenced by profits from a drug? I'd say any theory that starts will Gates being influenced by money to be made off of drug sales is fatally flawed.

Can you cite the information source that shows that Anthony Fauci bought a pile of Gilead stock? And for what it's worth, Fauci's agency, NIAID, isn't responsible for drug approvals, the FDA is.

Then there is the simple matter that so far, there have been no proper clinical trials evaluating hydroxychloroquine, whereas Remdesivir has shown good, not tremendous, but good - results in a randomized, placebo-controlled, double blind, highly powered study.

Hydroxychloroquine does have known issues with a side effect of modulating ion channels involved in heart muscle regulation, and it's believed to have a narrow therapeutic window* for Covid-19 as a result.

Something folks have not considered is that as the demand for this drug increases --- the overhead costs for producing the drug and the break even price will lower

That's good news.
