You have little to fear, regardless of your worry about the evil (R's) winning a seat in CA.

Sure much of the rural areas of CA outside of the heavily populated urban hell holes, are (R) country. However with an entire state government with (D) controlled House/Senate/Executive, there is little to fear. Also we are not talking about moderate (D's), and instead just look at the leftist kooks like Moonbeam Brown, Boxer/Feinstein/Kamala Harris, etc. that have won national statewide races.

Some of their leftist communist views should give even liberals in NY some concern.
That is unless you are a supporter of leftist kooks like AOC in NY.

That's the thing.

While I don't know if CA is on track to becoming a purple state, Democrats in CA certainly can't blame anything on the GOP, which has been out of power for a hot minute; Arnold left office at the end of 2010, and Dems didn't have enough votes to override any potential vetoes, so I'll call his period in office a time where Dems didn't have full control.

So much winning. Even in this time of the COVID19.

It's important to remember that this seat had been red for many years. The fact that it was flipped and Hill crashed and burned in such spectacular fashion within months of taking her position, should mean this seat will remain red for years to come provided there isn't another congressional disaster.

My personal favorite in the U.S. is either Rev. Jeremiah Wright or Californian Maxine Waters. Indeed if we can squelch Joe Biden, really a closet Trumpist, I support Maxine Waters for President.

Cristy Smith had constant ad's on TV, not cheap, I figure the Democrat party spent plenty and with help from public employee unions.

It will go red... It's only a matter of time... That is unless you believe in global warming where everything stays the same forever....

The only way to save California is for it to start turning red.

The Dems conceded. One hour or so after I said don't pop that champagne cork just yet.

I am shocked that Ventura County voted more for Garcia than the Dem.

One step at a time - I would love nothing more than to see CA go red. Make that state great again.

Why? I lived in Ventura County before moving to Nevada. It's not nearly as liberal as L.A. County.

Just checked Certainly Not News (CNN) site and this election never happened. Even went into the political section of the Communist News Network (CNN) and California going red and Wisconsin going red never happened. Pravda during Soviet days was never as biased as CNN is.
