Yawn.

Everything is a straw man to conservatives...

And what about the smoke and mirrors of Trump today? This virus has proven very dangerous on Trump's image. His economy, exposed that the jobs were in the service sector just like Obama detractors (myself included). His crisis response is just why he had business failures time and time again. There is a reason Oxford Economics predicts only a 35% for Trump and that is all Trump's doing.

And Democratic policy has resulted in over 60 millions babies being murdered since Roe V Wade. The Democratic party initiative amounts to a holocaust against innocent life.

It's actually much harder to make good decisions as the President than it is as an outsider like us.

Here is the report as reported in the New York Times on Feb 28, 2020: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/28/u...sultPosition=6

To save time here is the segment of the report which details Trump's rally in South Carolina:

"Mr. Trump said that news outlets like CNN were “doing everything they can to instill fear in people,” while some Democrats were “trying to gain political favor by saying a lot of untruths.” His acting White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, went even further, telling conservative activists that journalists were hyping the coronavirus because “they think this will bring down the president; that’s what this is all about.”

At a campaign rally on Friday evening in South Carolina, the president denounced Democrats, describing the concerns they have expressed about the virus as “their new hoax” after the Russia investigation and then impeachment. “Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus,” he said. “We did one of the great jobs. You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue. They cannot even count the votes in Iowa.”"

Trump fired the opening round directly at the media during his campaign. He kept the war going claiming everything is a hoax right up to mid March 2020. Then reality set in when the virus got out of control. Then the firings began because Trump was trying to contain the truth. Now we are just under 100,000 dead.

And the China travel ban only blocked Chinese people bringing the virus in. Not Americans in China, not Europeans, just Chinese nationals.
