Yeah, and we could see as David vs Goliath fight and no need to guess who's Goliath.

Btw, I could imagine Bart Simpson saying this catchphrase to governor Gretchen.

While good for him, I feel a bit sad that at his age he still feels he needs to work for an income.

Isn't the cost of living there in Owosso lower compared to the average in America?

One of the barbers I go to is 88 years old, he doesn't look and act that age though. He does it only because it's something to fill the time and not out of necessity.

Stop calling the implementation of perfectly reasonable restrictions to help mitigate a major public health crisis "tyranny". You either don't know what the word means or are comfortable being a drama queen. These are tough times. Nobody is making the decision to implement lock downs lightly. Imagine you had to make a decision regarding the loss of thousands of lives vs a significant economic impact. You're full of crap if you think that's an easy decision.

Regarding the barber: If this goes to the US Supreme Court, he will lose. They've already ruled on these types of situations and the government has every right to impose restrictions. You need to get over it. I know you don't like it. I don't like it either and the number of people who are suffering economically is heartbreaking. But letting a pandemic run unchecked would be stunningly irresponsible and will likely have an even worse economic impact.

Between the 82000+ he had on Go Fund Me, he should be able to make it a couple years.

Working 10 hour days at 15 bucks a haircut would yield him at least 150 a day. By the time he does the cut, disinfect his chair and supplies he may be able to do 2 an hour. IDK how much time a man's haircut takes.

DH retired from the corporate rat race at 52. That's when the Harvard MBAs seized control of everything. But he worked at all kinds of jobs until age 79 due to believing idle hands are the devil's workshop.

I'd still bet the rent money Mr. Manke owns his shop and collects fees from the other people who work there. His FB site indicates they do all kinds of services. And he could get social security.

...to your first paragraph...i'm curious whether you, you personally, have a line that you will not let be crossed?...the mask?...the quarantine?...a forced vaccine?...we all have boundaries, i'm curious at what point do you draw the line and say, no?...
