One thing for sure, I wasn’t the person who put the man in that situation. He did it himself. He could have obeyed the law and stayed out of trouble. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. With that said I’m glad they canned those cops and maybe they deserve some jail time. But remove the mayor and fire the Chief of Police too.
here's the problem with your statement, we don't even know if he broke the law. We didn't even make it to the trial.
Here's the other problem with your passive aggressive statement, forgery doesn't require a violent response. How does somebody end up dead over an alleged forgery call? Are you capable of understand that there are levels to crimes?
VERY interesting. No sign that I can see of the guy attacking the arresting officers, no signs he was on violence-enhancing drugs (angel dust etc.), or any of the other things I speculated on in earlier posts. They walked him all the way over to the other cop car, and he complied pretty peacefully. Nothing after that, until the first video we all saw where he's down with a knee on his neck.
I see NOTHING here that would justify the knee on the neck.
What happened between the time he walked peaceably to the other cop car, and the time when he was down with a knee on his neck? And how long was that interval? Did his behavior suddenly change after he walked peaceably to the other cop car?
The cop may have a case for committing only manslaughter though.
Even Hannity is coming out against these cops. I'm watching him right now.
Unfortunately, the video does not show what happened when they got across the street to that other police car.
It does, however, show that the guy was already handcuffed. There were 2 police officers with him. There were other police right across the street. If he was resisting, with handcuffs on, AND other police officers right there, there was no need to be slamming a knee on his neck, and then keeping it there.
There is no excuse for what that cop did, no matter how many who show everyone their bigotry, while pretending not to be a bigot, want to pretend that there was.

I agree.
I keep waiting for the video that was mentioned a couple pages ago, that show Floyd falling and then being beset upon by several cops.
I've never seen a video of the moment where things turned. All anyone can see in these videos is at first, the cops were completely respectful and gentle, and then they were on his neck and back. What happened in between?
The surest way to gain sympathy for a movement or cause is to destroy civilization, everyone knows this
