Tucker Carlson mentioned this on his show tonight. RICO laws could be used to arrest BLM organizers who are inciting violence. Tucker wanted to know why that hasn't happened already. There are plenty of videos of BLM thugs.
This article claims they think the protests are organized crime. The protests include looting, arson and now murder. It's time to start prosecuting the BLM leaders now. https://americanindependent.com/hous...ip-roy-antifa/
The House can't "target" anyone for anything under any law, except for impeachment of judges and executive branch officials. Apparently, GOP House members would like to use the DOJ use RICO against Antifa.
What does this even mean? The House can't "target" anyone for anything under any law, except for impeachment of judges and executive branch officials.
They are asking the Justice Department to do it:
Quote:
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), chair of the caucus, called on federal prosecutors to utilize the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act against protesters. RICO was passed to in the 1970s, originally to target the Mafia.
20 years or so ago a racist hate group existed in my area. They were not nearly as vile or violent as Burn Loot Murder, nor nearly as large or well funded, but a similarly disgusting group of morons just the same. At one point a couple of people were followed by member of that group (Aryan Nation). They got scared. The sued the organization, won, and bankrupted them.
Now, BLM has done far worse than scare a couple of people. They are responsible for billions in damages, dozens of deaths, multiple destroyed neighborhoods. Why haven't they been hit with massive civil suites and bankrupted as well? More black privilege perhaps?

Yes, you answered your own question. It is because this racist terrorist group is hiding under a name that sounds as if they care about blacks. (If anything, they are making things much worse for blacks.) But because the leftists are eager to side with blacks in every altercation, even when the black man is a criminal thug going for a weapon to kill a cop, the terrorist group with a “black name” is not only given a wide berth to wreak havoc but is actually being honored with murals and street names. By the liberals, of course.

How about use the existing laws to charge ANYONE inciting violence?
Does it make sense deploy certain laws only to target certain groups?
I doubt Tucker could get any more biased if he tried. If someone suggested some laws should be applied only against white supremacists, Tucker would he shrieking about persecution off the top of his lungs.
Seems like a simple enough of an answer but yet for whatever reason it's not happening. Thus, the mayhem goes on.
How do you know it is not happening? They arrested 200 people in Kenosha alone. What constitutes "incite violence"? Lot of posters right here might be guilty of it, but according to FOX it matters only if you are a member of BLM. Words in a discussion forum might not mean much, but we know there are instigators from both sides (and from no side) physically present at the riots who actively incite vandalism and violence.
Kyle Rittenhouse was incited by Facebook inciters to take up his rifle and join the action, which he did and ended up shooting 3 people. Should the FB posters be held accountable? Maybe they will be.
