When Portland had those massive riots after Trump's election, "The Oregonian" newspaper did an investigation on some of the people arrested. I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was something like out of the 85 people arrested, 70 or so were not even registered to vote. So they were outraged over a presidential election that they couldn't be bothered to take part in.
