Just got back from the protest in my town-word got out about one starting at 2:00 in the afternoon in a shopping center. Lots of good guys got the word and showed up. Lots of support from the community for the people protecting the city. We had some good conversations with law enforcement, they left before long. On the way out they waved and thanked us. The good guys probably outnumbered the protesters 3:1. Lots of support from the biker community. If there were any Pantifa around I think they got the message and left.
The protesters there were not violent, for the most part they seem like good people (a couple loud-mouthed girls trying to pick a fight, but that was about it). We had a good chat with some of them.
Hope things stay peaceful as it gets dark. Pantifa rioted and looted in Spokane last night, we were expecting them here. I think they'll figure out that Idaho is not Washington-otherwise we'll be playing Cowboys and Pantifa.
“ The good guys outnumbered the protesters 3:1”.
You are not implying that one can’t protest and be a good guy, are you?
Did some people fall for a twitter message. Thinking that a huge riot was going to occur.
Shameful to fall for stuff
Woulda sucked if it did happen though wouldn't it? Especially since cities are burning all over the country. Why don't you take care of NC and let residents decide what's best for Idaho.

You're right, and that was a poor choice of words on my part. At the time we rolled in we didn't know if they were good people protesting peacefully, or Pantifa or other groups looking to looting and burning in our city.
Forget about the First Amendment. It's about gone.
