There are two groups filling the streets nationwide: People angered by George Floyd's killing, who are walking, chanting, waving signs etc....

... and people who don't care about George Floyd, but are simply taking advantage of others' demonstrations, to smash stores, loot them, burn down buildings, and attack cops and civilians alike.

The first group is reasonably called "Protesters".

The second group is nothing but terrorists, and should be treated as such.

They have very little in common.

Be sure you make it clear which group you're talking about when you complain about "protesters".

That's a fair statement.

There are protesters and fauxtesters.
