People don't recognize that "defund police" does not mean "eliminate police". It means reallocation of dollars to other resources better equipped to deal with issues police is often called upon to deal with. The homeless, mental health problems, drug addictions. The police are not best suited to handle those, other trained professionals are.

It is an idea worth exploring, and implementing in some manner.

They have explored it. It's called Los Angeles and San Francisco and it's been an absolute unequivocal failure. There are more homeless, mentally ill, and drug addicted people on the streets than ever before.

Seemed to have worked extremely well in Camden, NJ.

Record murder rate
Normal people is Minneapolis should love this ... even the goofy Mayor of Minneapolis refused to agree with this crazy idea.

Absolutely everyone knows for a fact that President Trump is the deciding vote on the Minneapolis City Council.

Of course, but they live in a Rubber Bubble and critical thinking doesn’t exist in that Bubble.

Well, you can rely on Antifa to help you if the cops aren't around.

THANKS MINNEAPOLIS POLS!

for graciously volunteering your own taxpayers as guinea pigs to live in a city with no law enforcement. Now the other cities can watch the result of prius driving social workers asking hardened criminals to please and thank you not to purse snatch and breakin and enter, nor gang rape women at night.

This is going to work out great! And I assume every cop is fired effective immediately?

WOW this is gonna be good. Have at it morons

They may need your nursing help. Now why didn't you go to med school, again?
