This is actually true due to all of the Northern transplants still moving to the South to escape Democrat hellholes.
They then vote Democrat in their new areas which is creating the same problems they moved away from the North to get away from to start with.

I’m actually going to speak up for the Democrats in Minnesota. A large percentage of our black population have moved here from somewhere else and many of them were troubled already when they arrived.

Down south you have black families established for generations.

How do you know that racism is greater in the north if you live in the south?

People from the North move down South to escape the brutally cold Northern winters and to enjoy a warmer, sunnier climate. The move may have absolutely nothing to do with politics.

A higher percentage of southern democrats voted for it than southern republicans. In fact no southern republican voted for it.

Support for the Act was more based on geography than party.

Looked it up. Unless I am looking at the wrong Bill your facts are blatantly wrong unless you are separating out more than just northern and southern democrats. Overall republican % was higher.

Look at Senate

Florida: 2 Dems Nay
South Carolina: 2 Dems Nay
North Carolina: 2 Dems Nay
Lousiana: 2 dems nay
Alabama: 2 dems Nay
Kentucky: 2 republicans Yay
West Virginia: 1 Dem Nay 1 Dem yay
Virginia: 2 Dems Nay
Georgia: 2 Dems Nay

That's 18 senate seats right there.
2/2 On republican side.
1/16 on Democrat side.

Same problems ---- lol.......not true -- I've lived in the southeast for 22 years and have not seen big increases in my state and local taxes at all. (and that's the biggest problem).

Facts: the northern and coastal states become more democratic, they become MORE racist.

Why do the taxes need to go up.
As inflation goes up and GDP per capita goes up (which outpaces inflation) the government is getting more money.
Is government supposed to be like a black hole continually expanding consuming everything?

How things like Redlining and other racial exclusion practices don't happen anymore in the North and it's only gotten more Democratic since these practices were outlawed/abandoned.
