Can someone please tell me what did Obama do in his 8 years as POTUS to solve racial inequality?

Why did it still exist on January 19, 2017 if he took care of it?

This is all BEFORE Trump, so let's just focus on what Obama did to solve the issue and why the issue did not change in his 8 years.

Michael Brown was a criminal who tried to kill a cop and was shot dead. Obama sent his AG to the families home to meet with them and console them.

That went over really well.

A lot less than he could have done that is for sure. He was divisive with his class warfare approach to politics.
I would say that his supporters were even more divisive.

Michael Brown still awaits justice. When society is ready he should be exhumed.

Nothing, one of the worst looting and riots in Baltimore history were under his watch in 2015. One of the worst police shootings where multiple cops died in 2016 Dallas were under his watch

This man was a divider, not a uniter. Anyone bother checking out southside Chicago? It's still the war zone he once governed.

His failure led to the direct election of his arch enemy: Trump

Exactly.

A black democrat President couldn’t solve police & race relation in 8 year. Why do the leftists think a white republican President can do that in less than 4 years?

Besides, almost all high profile police shootings occurred in Democrat-run cities. Fact

What did Obama do as president to combat the supposed problem of "Instititionalized racism"?

This is a more narrowly defined question that one might think that the first black President would make a priority to address, if there actually was such a thing that could be clearly identified.

As far as I can recall, he did not even clarify what the task required to address it was, much less step into it with a view towards dismantling this supposed systemic institutional injustice.

Slaughtered brown babies in Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria.

It worked so well that Trump upped the ante when he got in.

Baby killin': a bipartisan stance if there ever was one.

Even Shaun King agrees

"STOP generically telling us to VOTE in response to all of the police brutality we have right now.

Yes we should vote. But we have to be VERY specific..

Democrats, from top to bottom, are running the cities with the worst police brutality in America right now.

We voted for them"
