Just saw an ad from the Biden campaign on YouTube. In it, Biden struggles through a script and at the end, says, "Together, we'll transform America."
That sounds kinda familiar.

Not in the sense that Obama/Biden envision of total leftist control of all 3 branches where they can create a leftist socialist utopia. No thanks. This idea of transformation sells to the electorate when you look at the approval ratings of congress usually in the teens. People are tired of the status quo leadership and of course depending who is POTUS half the country is not happy on the direction of the country.
Tell me with a straight face that the right does not want to transform the country in a conservative libertarian model where the {R} party controls all 3 branches. Even individually all of us hope for transformation of our gvt in our own image depending on which way we lean right or left. Including me who would like to transform the gvt into constitutional Monarchy with limited democracy.

Of course. Times change, and we need to be able to change with them.
Change and transformation can be good, or it can be bad, but it is inherently neither.
Everyone was so afraid of Obama's change, but he grew the economy, gave us a better standing in the world, and tried to help people get healthcare, to unite, and to improve race relations in the US. All good things, and while some may disagree if he was successful or not, or to what level, I think ALL AMERICANS agree that those things are for the most part good. I mean, who would say that any of them are bad, other than a person who is not really an American?
On the other hand, we've seen 3 years of restricting the media and the 1st amendment. A full-on assault on race relations, a total fall from grace on the global stage. We've gone from being the envy of the world, to the pity of the world. Again, some will disagree if that is true or not, and to what level.
Regardless of what you think of the last couple/few decades, regardless of who you believe got it right, SURELY everyone has been in favor of transformation, whether they are aware of it or not. Even the most conservative people (for example) will tell you that the 2a must have evolved beyond muskets, that is "transformation".
I am baffled that so many people want to stand still and watch the rest of the world surpass us. I really thought that percentage would have been around 40%, +/-.
By and large, those aren't Biden voters. Those are Bernie voters. They think less of Biden than you or I do.
