What are barriers to communication are emotion and ego. Emotion rooted in fear of the ‘other’, ego rooted in fear of being wrong.

For one to be an intellectual one must not live in an existential bubble but be brave and intelligent enough to look strongly at alternative ways of being while skillfully communicating a given standpoint, theory, perspective, ideally informed by empirical evidence, not emotive response.

The cops "bending the knee" are making a political statement on the job that is affecting the officers with them and their ability to Police. They should be put on leave, at minimum. Save the politics for when they aren't working on the taxpayer dime and responsible for the well being of their fellow officers.

Even Evangelicals "Bend a knee" when entering a church, or kneel to read a scripture during a service.. But somehow, these same Evangelicals finds it offensive to bend a knee during a National Anthem ?? Boggles my mind. I'd bet the farm you used such terms to fuel further hatreds towards anyone who challenges Human Rights & to be considered somehow unequal persons under the Constitution plus the Amendments adopted???

It's very apparent to anyone who KNOWS all about the Constitution and all the Civil Rights it affords!

Right now.. the only CULT that currently espousing such demands is the "Leader in the WH now!!

DJT has been EXPOSED for what he is and has always been... Trolls/Bots/Paid posters, whomever are losing the argument right now!!
You are blinded by ideology. The crowd surrounded the cop and chanted to him to bend the knee. In what world is that not considered making a demand?

And these people are destroyers. They are not producers. They are actively trying to dismantle our society.

Some where in my gut it's telling me that officers taking a knee isn't the right message or thing to do.

There can be other ways to show empathy in my opinion.
